Development of CE version Connector with Lead Cable for Fast Charging Station

Fujikura Ltd. (Yoichi Nagahama, President & CEO)announces development of CE version Connector with Lead Cable (compliant with CHAdeMO) for Fast Charging Station.

More and more fast chargers for EV, which can quickly complete charge, are installed to gas stations, service areas and the others. CHAdeMO association^*1 proactively promotes standardizing the methods of charging/data transmission and connector's specification for the fast charger to aim at de facto standard.

The Company newly adds a CE certified model (No. IEC62196-1) and supports to spread CHAdeMO's fast chargers.

The newly added model features,

Fail-safe by the same operating direction with connector and lever
The best-angled grip for good handling
Light operability by center lever design

The Company keep tracking the latest technology trend and supporting spread of CHAdeMO fast chargers by developing user-friendly products reflecting EV user's needs.
