New splicer 36S+Fujikura announces the launch of the 36S+ clad alignment fusion splicerFujikura Ltd.
Fujikura Ltd. (President & CEO: Masahiko Ito) is proud to announce the latest evolution in the development of the single fusion splicer with the launch of the 36S+.
The 36S+ is now equipped with "ACTIVE FUSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY" to maintain consistent low loss splicing results. The technology incorporates the following features: ? Optimized fusion control applied before fusion splicing based on analysis of fiber cleaved end face condition. ? Real-time optical fiber brightness intensity analysis and control during fusion splicing.
In addition, 36S+ incorporates "ACTIVE BLADE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY" which manages the condition of the optical fiber cleaver blade by wireless communication between the splicer and cleaver. These two technologies, “ACTIVE FUSION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY“ and "ACTIVE BLADE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY", allow customers to achieve more stable low-loss splicing, reducing the need for rework and re-splicing.
The conversion to 4K and 8K broadcasts in CATV industries, the FTTx and 5G base stations deployments have increased the fiber optic network constructions. Many new contractors are entering the construction of fiber optics network. The 36S+ enables these companies to splice with confidence, because even new operators can use this splicer with ease.
