9 June 2015 Fujikura Honored by the Laser Society of Japan with Laser Industry Award for Excellent Products for its Fiber Laser Product-Line including 4kW Continuous Wave Fiber Laser

Fujikura Ltd. (President & CEO: Yoichi Nagahama, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was honored by the Laser Society of Japan with "Laser Industry Award 2015 for Excellent Products" for its fiber laser product line including 4kW continuous wave fiber laser at Laser Expo 2015 that was held in Yokohama from April 22 to 24, 2015.

The Laser Industry Awards are prestigious awards, which are given to companies that developed excellent products and technologies, put them to use, and contribute to the development of society through laser and optical industries. Among the awards, the Laser Industry Award for Excellent Products is presented to a company whose technology and track record on the market stand out. Fujikura's fiber laser technologies and track record in introducing many products into the market were highly evaluated to receive such an honorable award.

By taking advantage of its core technologies -optical technologies-, the Company manufacturers fiber lasers within its group including producing main components and assembling.
