Fujikura Ltd. (Mr. Yoichi Nagahama, President & CEO) has developed multi-plex optical connectors for ultrahigh definition imaging devices used in 4k/8k broadcasting studios for the first time in the world, and started delivering them.

This innovative products meet the standard of "Interface for UHDTV Production Systems B-58 ver. 1.0" that Association of Radio Industries and Businesses (ARIB) has established. Attached to both ends of 24-fiber optical cables that link 4k/8k super-high vision bradcasting devices, the connectors contribute to the realization of high-density optical interconnection and reductions in time needed for connecting and disconnecting.

We will exhibit the above optical fibers at CEATEC JAPAN 2014 that will be held at Makuhari Messe from October 7th to 11th, 2014. You will be able to watch 4K/8K super high vision images used our connecters in our booth. We will also display electronics products, various connectors, new energy and superconducting wires and others, and will have a live performance of magnetic levitation using superconducting wires.
